Number Five is Alive

Ok, so the Army isn't deploying that silly robot from the movie, but what they are deploying is a modification to the standard EOD robot that's been in use in Iraq since the beginning. They've modified it by mounting a either a SAW (Squad Machingegun) or an M240B on the chassis. Now the operator can drive this machine into a hot spot and drop a few unruly terrorists without risk to life or limb. Because the weapon is manuevered by a machine, the accuracy is astounding, since the machine lacks the inherent flaws that a human shooter does... No breathing, trigger jerking or recoil flinch here!
