Changing Values

Isn't it peculiar how some things that used to have tremendous value, now seem so utterly cheap and devoid of value?

I'm sure there are some liberals out there heralding Obama's Nobel award as proof positive that their man has brought about a foreign relations renaissance... and indeed it has. Our fainéant allies have indeed experienced a rebirth of our foreign aspirations. The pointed demands that they live up to their obligations have indeed ceased, allowing them to lapse back into their slothful ways. There's no more George W. Bush holding their feet to the fire. Instead he's been replaced with this new fellow that requires instruction on delivering pointed demands from the French President (of all people). So far his timid, self-aggrandizing voice hasn't delivered a single thing from our allies... not even the selection of Chicago by the World Olympic Committee.
