Interesting Mars Findings

Scientist at NASA have used the radar systems on a spacecraft orbiting Mars to measure the amount of water ice trapped at Mars' south pole. Amazingly they've found that if all the water frozen at the pole were thawed, it would produce enough water to cover the entire surface of the planet to a depth of 36 feet! Scientists have long surmised that there was water at the Martian poles, but certainly not in these quantities.
