Champions of Crime Prevention II

A while back I posted a list of America's 50 most crime plagued cities and I display how overwhelmingly the democrats are represented in the mayorship of those cities. So I decided to see what ideas are being pursued in these cities to reduce crime.

So there was no better place to start than the top, Baltimore Maryland. The linked article is what I found. Here's a small excerpt:
The mayor could declare "public safety act zones," which would allow police to close liquor stores and bars, limit the number of people on city sidewalks, and halt traffic during two-week intervals. Police would be encouraged to aggressively stop and frisk individuals in those zones to search for weapons and drugs.
There you have it, The mayor is to be given the ability to declare martial law and suspend the bill of rights at will. I suppose that those they find during the declaration of a "public safety act zone" will be headed directly to the gulag so fast their head will spin. Perhaps mayor Sheila Dixon will change the police uniform to incorporate nifty brown shirts.

Here's another quote from the article:
He modeled his plan after an approach advocated by Philadelphia mayoral candidate Michael Nutter, who won the Democratic nomination.
So this is not an isolated idea. The democrats are growing so brazen that they are now openly declaring that they should have the ability to swoop into neighborhoods like the gestapo on a Warsaw ghetto.

Well Baltimorans, when they swoop in, shut down your businesses, restrict your free movement, frisk you and then package you up for shipment to the gulags and labor camps; remember, you elected them.
