Finally Some Common Sense

Listen, if police showing up at a shooting scene with guns is a good thing, why is it bad thing to allow that armed response to be there prior to the police's arrival. Every time I hear arguments against this the logic goes along the lines that these people are not properly trained to employ a firearm in a stressful situation. Well it seems to me that one improperly trained guy was effective enough to kill 32 people at Virginia Tech. It does not take a genius to be able to employ a gun effectively. Hell in many cases, a gun doesn't even need to be fired to defuse a situation. The mere fact that will be forcefully resisted is enough to bring things to a screeching halt.

Why do the democrats insist on forcing people to bring even less than a knife to a gun fight?
