Article: Arizona Gov. Brewer gets book critique from Obama

What a pathetic, thin-skinned, petulant child! This man is supposed to be our president and can't comport himself with even the requisite level of decorum when someone disagrees with him. Perhaps that might be why Washington can't compromise! Even the much loathed George W. Bush was capable of graciousness when confronted with the most venomous criticisms ever leveled at a president.

Article: Ahmadinejad says Iran ready for nuclear talks

"Ahmadinejad says Iran ready for nuclear talks" I believe that... MILLIONS wouldn't but I do. This is just another stall tactic. Of course Obama will be dumb enough to buy into it, "See I knew my sanction approach would works... Say what is that mushroom shaped cloud doing over Saudi Arabia's oil fields?"

Article: Taxpayers still owed $132.9B from bailout: report

That would be the 132.9 billion dollar donation we taxpayers were "generous" enough to give the unions. Plan on seeing large chunks of it spent to reelect Obama.

Article: Cops: Man, 65, kills teen who knocks him off bicycle

Score another point for the necessity for concealed carry and the innate human right to self-defense.

Article: Gingrich vows to establish a colony on the moon

It would be refreshing to have a real space program with real attainable goals again. It might be a good idea to construct an expeditionary vessel in orbit that could be provisioned for long range exploratory trips to say Mars or the asteroids and the re-provisioned, re-tooled and reused for the next trip. There are a set of similar requirements that would mean the we could realize a real amount of savings with this approach... This would use the lessons we learned about the benefits of re-use from the space shuttle program.

Article: Low IQ & Conservative Beliefs Linked to Prejudice

Let me get this straight, a leftist from a left leaning school has designed a study to prove that we conservatives are stupid and prejudiced. Now there's a big surprise... It would have been a greater surprise if he'd arrived at a different outcome.

Article: Video: Divers find large, unexplained object at bottom of Baltic Sea

Interesting... Anyone care to speculate what it might be?

Article: U.S. to Iraq: don't "blow this opportunity"

Whether you agree with the decision to go to Iraq or not, it would be sad to see all the shed blood and spent treasure be for naught just because we were in a breakneck hurry to get out. But then again we've wasted so much lately why would I be daft enough to believe this would be any different?

Article: Panetta: US ground forces would be cut by 100,000

This is utterly, positively MORONIC!!! Third world nation status... Here we come! The liberals have redistributed all of our wealth around the globe and now Obama's going to squander all of our military supremacy... Why do I see more "leading from behind" in his future. I served in the military right after Jimmy Carter decimated it. We didn't even have parts to fix our vehicles. Half of them were red lined and unable to be moved. Compared to this travesty, that hardship was a walk in the park.

Article: Report: 36 Obama staffers delinquent on federal taxes

Hey Barack, maybe before you work on getting the rich to pay "their fair share" you ought to work on getting your people to do so first! Seriously, people in glass houses shouldn't toss rocks!

Article: Vets oppose speech by general who demonized Islamists

I frequently get crucified when I state the truth but here goes. The military is by and large conservative. In every annual Stars and Stripes poll, soldiers self-identify to at least 70%, as being conservative. Are there liberal veterans? Of course, but they are the vastest minority (and are just the ones that haven't yet learned which side their bread is buttered on). Now, to this particular group, VoteVets... The majority of their membership does not claim to be veterans. There has been a large number of their members who do claim to be veterans identified as perpetrators of what we veterans call "stolen valor"; low-life posers who claim to be veterans or actual veterans who inflate the nature of their service. This organization is a George Soros financed liberal venture just like move-on.org or ACORN. The fact that such a group would not wish to be told about the true nature of our enemies... does not surprise me in the least.

Article: Santorum may have won Iowa; Romney calls results ‘a virtual tie’

I'll bet the establishment intentionally rigged it that way to blunt any momentum that Santorum would have gleaned from a victory that was announced in a timely fashion.

Article: Helix Nebula Gleams Like a Golden Eye in New Photo

Article: Letting White Voters Choose the Nominee

The order primaries are held in has been set for quite some time now... I seriously doubt that the racial make up of the constituencies is what decided it. But nice attempt at race baiting anyways! Personally I think the order ought to be changed each go-round. I'm tired of carefully seeking out a candidate only to have them removed from the running before I have a say in who should get the nod, let's face it political campaigns are a game of momentum and usually by the time the ability to vote comes around to me it's just a proforma vote.

Article: 3 Numbers That Will Determine the Next President

"President Obama and his Democratic backers insist he's the one to bring fairness back to an economy..." Fairness? Who ever said life was fair? If you think life is fair, or even that it ever could be fair then you are a deluded child. Every kid learns from mommy and daddy that life isn't fair so you need to just get used to it. You can't legislate fairness, because "fair" is very much like "perfect"... unattainable! Some liberals might reply, "Tell that to people who pay 25% tax rate while people that are 1000 times richer than them pay a 15% tax rate." Well, that lower tax rate serves a large number of purposes. The two main ones being 1. It spurs investment into companies that provide employment... employment for those who don't qualify for that rate and who otherwise would have no income. -AND- 2. It provides an incentive for people who don't receive it, to want to receive it and to do what is necessary to arrive at that place where they can receive it. Success is hard work and if there's no incentive to succeed people will simply languish in mediocrity forever.

Article: U.S. and Iran on Collision Course

Where's all the Paulbots and Obamaniacs to tell us that if we just talk nicely to Iran, they'll stop wanting to nuke us and our allies out of existence... That it has nothing to do with the fact that they are fanatical elevener-shia who believe in Armageddon and that they can hasten the coming of the Mahdi by starting Armageddon.

Article: Romney nosediving in South Carolina as Gingrich surges

Wait. I though Mitt was the inevitable winner...

Article: The real reason no one impersonates dead voters: high risk, little benefit

Let's assume for a moment the premise that there is virtually no voter fraud... (not that I do, but let's do so for the purpose of a mental exercise). It is conceivable that there *could be* voter fraud. This conceivability of an offense is enough in many cases to enact laws that liberals support. Let's take gun control laws for example. To be more specific, let's take the "cool down" period that many anti-gun people advocate. The sole reason for this law to exist is based on the premise that a gun buyer may be purchasing a weapon to use in a crime of passion. If you look at the entirety of gun purchasers, what percentage of them might fit that description? The percentiles are certainly absolutely, infinitesimally small and yet this is a gun control law that many liberals favor and is in fact espoused very heavily by the Brady gang (it's one factor from their grading system for state's gun control laws). So certainly the conceivability that an offense could occur is a good enough premise upon which to base a law for liberals. That leads one to question why they are against its employment in the case of voter fraud prevention laws. Since there are, as we speak a number of Democrat politicians freshly convicted of voter fraud in New York state, I can only assume that they are concerned about closing this "gun show loophole" in their ability to steal elections.

Article: Army reports suicides down, but violent crimes up

You'll notice how they intentionally fail to mention how these numbers compare to the population at large! They do this to reinforce the liberal caricature that they are perpetuating against our veterans. Just FYI and since they fail to mention it... Criminality rates among active duty service members and veterans is LOWER than the population at large. Suicide rates are also lower. Stop slandering our heroes!

Article: Pentagon report: Sexual assault in the military up dramatically

Here is yet another article employing the same underhanded tactic where the statistics are not compared to the population at large. If you read the article you'll see: "Mr. Panetta emphasized that 'we assume this is a very underreported crime'". Why would we "assume" that? Further what is the point of this unending bombardment of the character of our troops? Last year according to this article, there were 3,191 "reports" of sexual assault (a very broad category). Not convictions mind you, just accusations. There are 1,466,545 Active duty personnel and 1,458,500 reserve personnel yielding a total of 2,925,045. So that means there are 109 reports (not convictions) per 100,000. Per the government crime statistics the nationwide average per 100,000 for convictions of "forcible rape" (the most serious of sexual assault offenses) in 2009 (the latest available statistics) stand at 158. The rate of this happening is therefore LOWER in the military than in the population at large. I wonder how the number of rapes in the military compares to the rate per 100,000 at Occupy encampments. Stop the assault on the honor of our heroes!

Article: World not quite as hot in 2011; ranks 11th warmest

So wait... "Not quite as hot"... That means it's cooler then right? Look, this global warming scam is not science. If our greenhouse gas contributions contributed to atmospheric warming it would have to exhibit a never ending trend of increases in temperature. That is because our output of those gases has not decreased, nor has the atmospheric concentrations of those gases. You see a key factor in determining whether a theory is scientifically valid is that a hypothesis must be "predictive". (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, look up "the scientific method".) That means if you can make a prediction based upon the premise of your hypothesis that is then found to be true based upon the objective measurement of the results of experimentation, then your hypothesis can be assumed to be scientifically valid. The global warming hypothesis however offers no such predictive quality and therefore, despite being quite a popular hypothesis (because we all know science is based on popularity contests right?), must be found to be flawed. Once you can show me an undeniable predictive quality to your hypotheses, then I'll join the band wagon, but not before.

This article then goes on to attempt to blame the unforeseen decline in temperature on the La Niña/El Niño cycle... If greenhouse gas concentrations were truly the cause it should be a simple matter of certain concentrations equating to a certain number of degrees increase averaged across the globe. The La Niña/El Niño cycle has nothing to do with it since the sun presumably delivers a fixed amount of energy to be trapped by those gasses.

News Round up 1/13/12

Here are my reactions to a few news articles that caught my eye:

Article: Outrage at Video of Marines Urinating on Taliban Corpses: A Veteran's View

I always hear about the so called "moral high ground"... I can understand behaving better than our enemies... My question is, why it is always some self-righteous prick (usually some brain-dead libtard who is far too effete to ever serve themselves) dictating (usually with that signature annoying liberal nasal whine) how much higher our moral high ground has to be? (It looks like Yahoo found the rare libtard veteran for this so called "article").

Isn't it good enough to be on slightly higher moral high ground or significantly higher moral high ground? Why does it always have to be nothing less than the very pinnacle of virtue that is expected from our troops?

Taking a leak on a corpse is a FAR milder offense than what the enemy does to our dead; FAR MILDER! ( Example 1, Example 2, Example 3, Example 4, etc...)

Put yourself in these guys' combat boots for a change... How would you react if you finally killed some prick that has been trying to kill you; someone who more than likely has taken the life of or maimed a comrade or comrades?

As far as I'm concerned, unless you've served, you have no right WHAT-SO-EVER to pass ANY judgment. It is high time to bring back the draft. I'm tired of all these stupid, effete liberals who are far too fine to ever serve themselves pontificating on what the moral high ground is for our troops. If more of them bird wits served there would be FAR LESS uninformed talking out of their asses (at least on this topic)!!.

Let's hope for a quick court martial followed just as quickly with a date with a firing squad. There can be no mercy for endangering the lives of your brothers in arms by leaking intelligence to the enemy.

Article: Obama wants export agency, closing of Commerce Department

After usurping the constitutional powers of the congress, why should they work with this bozo on ANYTHING at all in the remaining few months of his presidency? As far as I'm concerned, they should already be impeaching this clown for his actions. There has been no more corrupt administration in the history of the union and no administration with a greater disregard for the constitution either!

Beyond that, we ALL know that Obama's type of "consolidation" will mean that this move will no doubt yield no true savings. There'll of course need to be a new multi-billion dollar website, new uniforms, new letterhead and add in a few thousand new federal employees to manage the integration. Then they'll fire up Carney to spin the facts that "no, this is indeed a more efficient structure that prevented projected spending" (kind of like jobs created or "saved"). Air Force 1 will be spooled up for countless costly trips around the country for even more countless telepromptered speeches about how wonderful Obama is for doing this and how terrible those Republicans are for resisting it.

Give me a break! No additional power for Obama of any kind!

Article: Confederate submarine revealed and here is a slideshow

I found these images of the now fully revealed Hunley really interesting.

Article: Taunted Girl Dies From Fatal Disease

What a pretty little sweetie pie, such a pity... and what an utterly despicable excuse for a human being Jennifer and Scott Petkov are! Just remember, karma is a bitch and I hope its sweet justice comes to visit you two VERY soon!

Here are a series of articles and a single comment:

Article: Ogden Utah Police Shooting: Suspect Matthew Stewart Is War Veteran

Article: Iraq war veteran suspected of killing Mount Rainier park ranger found dead

Article: Ex-military man who killed mom, pets in shooting rampage charged

Article: Ex-soldier from Telford jailed over sex attacks on children

Article: Ex-soldier named in wrongful death suit

The has been an abundance of stories for some time now where the media has felt strangely compelled to trumpet a criminal's veteran status in the headlines. For example there was a shooting in Washington state of a park ranger, then there was a shooting in Utah revolving around a botched SWAT home invasion. In both cases, the suspect happened to be a veteran and in both cases that fact found its way into the headlines about the story. Just a cursory look at the news found many more instances as well. It is interesting that the media does not feel a need to publish the fact that a criminal is an illegal immigrant or even a welfare recipient in their headlines but veteran status is somehow extremely compelling.

It is my belief that this is a concerted effort by the liberal media to discredit our veterans. The problem is, even Fox News has fallen into this trap. Study after study has concluded that our veterans are far less likely than the population at large to engage in criminal behavior, yet the media is trying to build this false impression that every veteran is a ticking time bomb. This is further evidenced by Janet Napolitano's assertion that veterans are potential domestic terrorists. The funny thing is I'd probably bet you everything I own, that those who are illegal immigrants or welfare recipients are far more likely to engage in criminal behavior than our veterans.

I ask all of you to help bring attention to this topic. Send letters to the editors of news organizations that participate in this injustice to our veterans and demand that they stop!

Pavlov's Dogs

I feel that I must once more speak up. I know I've promised that my writing on this blog would be more prolific. I've tried, honestly I have. Life is what life is... All consuming and overbearing and for that I make no apologies.

I, like you, have been intently watching the wind up to the 2012 election. My favor has meandered like most Republicans' from one candidate to another. First it was Trump, but we all know how that ended up. Then I hitched my hopes onto Michelle Bachmann only to have her lose her sheen when Rick Perry joined the race. Then it turned out that he was incapable of stringing two sentences together in a sentient fashion in a debate. Then my admiration came to rest on Herman Cain.

The more I looked at the man the more I began to appreciate his qualities. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely HATE the idea of a national sales tax, but I harbor no illusions that he could EVER get such a thing through the muck and mire that is our congress. I was intrigued when he first announced his candidacy but didn't know enough to fully appreciate his qualifcations. But as time has passed I've found him to be adequately able in the limelight of a debate, yet you can tell that the man doesn't mince words. He's plain spoken and that for me is FAR more attractive to the polished platitudes of a professional liar politician.

He is not a part of the professional political machine. He's a businessman. He ran a pizza restaurant for crying out loud. His ascendance to the top of the Republican pack has the establishment worried and baffled. Isn't it interesting how they troop out on both sides of the political spectrum to nay-say his chances. Whether it's that vacuous baboon Bobby Gibbs or the ever pedantic Karl Rove it doesn't matter, their derision is palpable.

"This upstart has no chance," they all pontificate, wagging their fingers and trying their best to sound wise...

Yet his lead persists despite their best efforts to derail it. So what do they do? They roll out the ever predictable smear campaign. They know that we, conservatives will react with an primal knee-jerk aversion to claims of moral turpitude. So what do they troop out? A series of women claiming sexual misconduct. How quaint. I didn't see that one coming.

They think we are Pavlov's dogs. They're counting on it. We'll hear the steady drum beat declaring him a monster and turn away from him and head back for the safer, more well-known harbors of the establishment... the same establishment that's driven this country to the verge of extinction. They count on the fact that revelations such as the fact that one of accusers works for the Obama administration, or that one of them lives in the same apartment building as Obama's chief campaign adviser, David Axelrod or that another makes habitual use of litigiousness to further herself will not phase our trained response. Yes, all of these (and I'm sure other revelations yet undisclosed) will not assuage our habituated indignation. We're Pavlov's dogs after all, mere animals... We'll turn away from the only true non-establishment candidate and happily allow them to drive our nation those final few hellish feet to its doom under the steady establishment hand of that superficial Ken doll, Mitt Romney who'll gladly mouth whatever words that he thinks he needs to, to get himself elected.

I pray that we are not so predictable. I hope that we can appreciate the absurd transparency of this tactic. There is no other anti-establishment candidate out there except that trollish imp Ron Paul who thinks "being nice" to Iran will dissuade them procuring and using a nuclear weapon to hasten the appearance of their fictional Imam Mahdi.

The same tactics would never work on the liberals. I mean they happily elected a man whose accusers were able to accurately describe the deformation of his genitals. They don't care about such things, they not the party of diversity as they claim, they're the party of perversity. Even a brief visit to any liberal stronghold will prove that beyond any reasonable shadow of a doubt.

Imagine what would happen if we nominated Herman Cain, a black man, to be our candidate. The liberals have already over-used the appellation "racist" to such an extent that it is now the equivalent of calling a person a "doodie head". How will they react when we call them racists every time they differ with the policies of our minority candidate... Just that alone makes it well worth taking the chance of nominating him. How much worse off can we be? I mean I'd gladly vote for Barney the big dumb purple dinosaur before I'd vote for Obama...

This is News?

The AP wants you to know that no crime occurred today, but one could have. It's been everywhere on the news lately. It appears that there is a trend of people showing up outside town-hall meetings bearing arms. The usual cast of clowns and their complicit dupes in the mass media are over reacting exactly as these protesters are betting they will. Here's a sampling of some of the quotes from the post title-linked article:
"It actually becomes quite scary for many people. It creates a chilling effect in the ability of our society to carry on honest communication."

"The larger the gun, the more menacing the situation,"

"To me, this is craziness. When you bring a loaded gun, particularly a loaded assault rifle, to any political event, but particularly to one where the president is appearing, you're just making the situation dangerous for everyone."
Here's what the police had to say:
"Phoenix police said the gun-toters at Monday's event, including the man carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle slung over his shoulder, didn't need permits. No crimes were committed, and no one was arrested."
So all this outrage with no broken laws, no threats, no carnage... You see, the problem is that the mere sight of a firearm is scary to the left. The fact of the matter is, our nation was founded acknowledging a person's inalienable right to keep and bear arms. They of course spew the normal things they always spew... if a gun looks scary, it must obviously be more dangerous.

As a public service for any of my ill-informed lib readers, let me cue you in to a little piece of truth... an AR15 is not all that powerful. There is a reason why gun aficionados call them "poodle shooters" and it's not because we are cruel bastards that use them to shoot small dogs, but because the 5.56mm round that it shoots is only adequately powerful enough to engage an animal the size of a poodle. Sure, it is based on the same gun that our troops are issued. But you see issuing our troops a "poodle shooter" is another proof of the hatred you, our liberal friends have for the military that defends you. Intentionally sending someone into combat with an inadequate firearm doesn't exactly show love. Oh and one more thing... an AR15 is NOT an assault weapon/rifle you silly poltroons! Calling an AR15 an assualt weapon is just as indicative of ignorance as calling a mouse pad "software" because they're soft.

Now, let me speak common sense to my fellow conservatives and particularly the ones showing up at these events with firearms. We all know you have a god-given right to do this but you and I both know you are doing this especially because you want to evoke a reaction. You also want to express the serious deep seated nature of your disapproval with these displays. You know it will be controversial, that's the point. But as I think of it, the only thing that comes to mind is my mother's oft repeated wisdom:

"You attract more flies with honey than you do with vinegar."

By all means, go to the town halls in droves. Boisterously raise your voices in well reasoned, polite dissent. But, we need to have realistic situational awareness. We will never convince our liberal population of the folly of their ways. They are not the target of our words and deeds. Recent polls have shown us that only 20% of Americans identify with the left and 40% of Americans identify themselves as conservatives, so that means that the remaining 40% are independents or "moderates". Those are who we need to and can convince. If we hand the left ready-made imagery of a person with a pistol strapped to their hip carrying a sign that states, "It's time to water the tree of liberty". We are handing them ready-made propaganda to broadcast far and wide on their complicit mass-media outlets. We are handing them the raw materials for exaggeration and mis-characterization to use against us. We do not need to engage in hyperbole to win these folks over. We need to make it abundantly clear that it is the left who are the extremists, not us. When they point at peaceful, thoughtful, sensible Americans engaging in civil discourse and evoke imagery like Oklahoma City bomber, Timothy McVeigh, our fellow Americans are smart enough to recognize hypocrisy when they see it. Let the left send in their plants for the propaganda pictures and then let's expose them for the plants they are. For example:

(HT - ALa)

You see, fights are more often won with brains, than with blind fists and overt bravado. Be smart and be safe my friends and we will leave the field victorious.

BTW, does anyone know if the guy with the "tree of liberty" sign in the picture above is truly one of ours or is he another La Rouche or SEIU plant? Who is he?

Manufactured News for the Masses

Well it would appear that all here at casa G-Man have survived the H1N1 swine flu pandemic for now. In view of the dire coverage on the daily news however, we have been forced to retreat to the safety of our hermetically sealed bunker to avoid its lethal depredations...

C'mon people this is not a modern incarnation of the black plague... It's the damned flu! About 36,000 people a year die due to the flu, but so far only one person (a Mexican visitor) has died from this flu in this country.

The news media have been in full swing, ramping up the panic level all in an effort to cast a camouflage net over Obama's latest misdeeds and diablerie. If they keep us running scared or distracted we may not notice the handbasket we're riding in nor question our eventual destination.

For example if the holy one wants to discard capitalism... Viola! NBC produces a depression era shanty town in Sacramento California to justify his unconstitutional deeds:

But if you dig into it things are not as our buddy Matt Lauer presents them. Read this responsible report on the shanty town you will find that it has existed for years and that it has not seen any appreciable population growth because of the current economic downturn. In fact it has been populated over the decades by the chronically homeless; those who through mental illness or addiction have found a normal life impossible to lead and therefore have found themselves on the street.

Day by day our freedoms are being abridged at an alarming rate by this administration. You now no longer have the right to pursue your luck in business and ride that business to success or failure. Now if you succeed, you are vilified and outrageously taxed. If however you fail... then you will be propped up, your assets nationalized and the ill-fated fruits of your toils taken away from you.

When some of us refuse to be distracted and rise up in anger... The press again flies cover:

It really is a sad state of affairs. We're all homophobes and racists because we disagree. Moving on along... If you happen to believe the word "marriage" should only be used to label committed relationships between a man and a woman... well then they'll gin up some hideous buffoon to claim that you are a transsexual and sing the praises of a man who savaged you simply because you didn't toe that approved party line:

It is time to rise up people! It is time to raise your voice in unity with the rest of us in the silent majority that find the direction this nation is headed to be unabashedly wrong. We must in one resolute chorus drown out the droning pipes of the politburo's propaganda mill. It is time for us to demand a little truth in advertising. We must insist that if it says "news" on the label that it is indeed news and not mindless agitprop! It is time for us to demand that journalists practice journalism!

So Much for Posse Comitatus

Those who read my post from last night will perhaps remember me mentioning the potential use of Army troops on American soil. I'm sure some of my KoolAid drinking readers scoffed at that. Well next thing you know, some ex police cadet goes wacko in Alabama and goes on a shooting spree. Then what do I see in the news coverage? This picture from Reuters (click it to see it in its original context):

the caption reads: "U.S. Army soldiers from Ft. Rucker patrol the downtown area of Samson, Alabama after a shooting spree March 10, 2009."

You see there in that picture if you look at the detail a very serious problem. US Army ACU uniforms combined with vests reading "Police".

Perhaps some of my less informed readers might not know what posse comitatus is. Allow me to inform you. Posse Comitatus is a federal law that was passed on June 16th 1878 after the Civil War. This law was a strengthening of the Insurrection Act of 1807 and a reaction to the stationing of federal forces in the former states of the Confederacy. In effect, it makes it illegal for federal military forces to be deployed to act in any law enforcement capacity.

Wikipedia has a pretty good article about it.

Interesting that no "mainstream media" outlet is mentioning this tidbit, not even Reuters the outfit that published the picture.

NYT Strikes Again

I can't figure out the liberal thought. The New York Times recently caught wind of secret efforts on the part of our military to teach the Pakistani military in tactics used to thwart terrorists. Clearly having the US military operating in any fashion on Pakistani territory is something that a large segment of the Pakistani public (specifically that part that thinks Sharia Law and honor killing is a spiffy idea) would be against. The New York Times however does not care that exposing this program might hinder the war on terror or that it might endanger those troops participating in this effort. They of course post this info out there for all to see (click the title of this post to see the article). I'm just waiting to see them post the dates and times of impending attacks on terrorist positions like bus schedules. Perhaps they should ditch their current lifestyles section and start posting halal recipes and hijab-clad women should fill their fashion section. Idiots one and all.

Liberal Proclivities

Once again we've witnessed the liberal proclivity toward crime. The son of a democratic Tennessee state senator is being investigated for the break in.

You know you don't see Republicans doing these sorts of things to democrats. This is just one further verification of my contention that liberalism is synonymous with criminality. The liberals sure like to bitch and belly ache about eavesdropping on terrorists and enemies of our country but boy-oh-boy they don't have ANY compunctions about eavesdropping in this instance. Obviously they only support eavesdropping on their adversaries... What does that say about their relationship with those terrorists? You know, like Obama's buddy Billy (let's blow up the Pentagon) Ayers...

In further proof of the media's bias against Republicans, the following is widely mentioned in news articles about this matter:
"The Secret Service contacted The Associated Press on Wednesday and asked for copies of the leaked e-mails, which circulated widely on the Internet. The AP did not comply."
So the AP refuses to help the Secret Service to investigate the crime... nice.

You wonder why I dislike liberals so... It is low-life, no-class tactics like this. You see these sort of things so often from their side with so very little reciprocity from the right. This inherent criminal component of the liberal psyche is what drives their world view. That is why they are so anxious to ban gun ownership... Because when they look into their own cold, hard hearts they see the criminal proclivities openly lurking there fighting to boil to the surface. Clearly if they couldn't be trusted with a gun, then no one could... They fail to understand that not everyone is infected with their festering criminality... well either that or they're scared they'll get shot while breaking into a conservative's property.

Utter Panic

Our chums, the libs have their panties in a wad. How dare John McCain select Sarah Palin to run with him as his VP candidate.

Rather than differing with her politics, they're running around yipping about "How can Sarah Palin raise that special needs baby if she's serving as Vice President?"

Let me get this straight... The party that is always positing that women can be professionals and pursue a career and still be moms is asking this question?

Next they turned on her husband. First he was arrested for a DUI 22 years ago. You know back when Barack was a coke whore, Todd Palin had a few too many beers once. (People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones) Then they are throwing hissy fits because Todd registered as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party twice. Let me make this clear... Todd Palin is not the candidate, Sarah is.

Then the lowest of all... It turns out that Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter is pregnant. The KOS cretins were running around claiming that Sarah's downs syndrome child was actually her daughter's... These are the people who are out handing out condoms to kids in school (since we all know that condoms are 100% effective at preventing pregnancy). These are the people who want kids to be able to go get abortions at any age without their parents being informed. These are the people who are preaching a sermon of free sex without consequences. These are the people that firmly control the schools and are openly using them as indoctrination centers... In this day and age where the power of parents is being steadily eroded by more and more liberal social experiments that they are foisting upon us, they are attempting to indicate that Sarah Palin is in some way less honorable because her 17 year old daughter is pregnant...

Here's the way I see it. Sarah Palin is the mother of a perfectly typical American family that is suffering the same kind of set backs that many other American family's are experiencing these days. She is a strong and caring parent and a strong and caring politician. Attacking her child's youthful mistake is indicative of the pathetic desperation and insipid moral qualities of the people who seek to oppose her.

You people lack any semblance of class.

The muslims aren't out to get us!

Click the title to see the article that makes this claim.

This is pretty standard liberal tactics. Let me point the problem area out for you:
The survey, conducted by the Gallup polling agency over six years and
three continents, seeks to dispel the belief held by some in the West that Islam
itself is the driving force of radicalism.

Do you see it? A true poll does not seek to dispel anything. A poll's only purpose should be to establish the sentiments of those polled. If one engineers a poll with a mind to "dispel" something then you should not be surprised that they succeed.

Allow me to say that it does not surprise me that the vast majority of muslims are not radicals. What does surprise me is that they are not more vocal and active against those who are. Where are their voices raised in opposition to their religions leaders' calls in Mecca for death to the USA? I couldn't give a rat's ass what these people say on an anonymous poll. That doesn't count for a hill of beans. What counts, is the way these people guide their religion and religious leaders by consensus to moderation. So far, they have failed and are therefore irrelevant. What counts is how they guide their children to become contributing members of global society. On both of these counts the moderate muslims fail.

I am not saying that the majority of muslims are terrorists. What I am saying is that the majority of muslims are too cowardly to speak out and retake their religion. So the terrorists may not be the majority, but they hold the reins and the rest allow that to occur and that makes this stupid poll absolutely meaningless.

Wrapping up a few loose ends

There have been a number of articles that have caught my attention of the past several days that I've been intending to blog about. Well you know how life ends up keeping you from doing everything you intend... So I've resolved to deal with all of them here and clear them from my plate.

First there's this article. German scientists employing a sophisticated computer model have shown that the temperature at the bottom of cracks in the ice on the surface of Saturn's moon Enceladus would be at a temperature of 0 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This explains the image above where plumes of liquid water are seen sublimating into space in the back-lit image of Enceladus. It also goes a long way to proving that liquid water does indeed exist on the tiny world's surface. Scientists believe that the existence of liquid water is a necessary precursor for the development of life. At any rate, the article was pretty interesting....

Second there's this article. On January 14th NASA's MESSENGER probe shot past Mercury, collecting data as it flew by. It imaged a previously spotted surface feature, "The Spider" in greater detail than it's ever been seen, raising some new questions about the feature's formation. Mercury is one of the least known planets of our solar system. the MESSENGER space craft will make the next of several scheduled visits the relatively unknown planet next in October.

Finally, there's this article. The image above is a newly discovered, never before published image of Ernie Pyle's body. Ernie Pyle was the most celebrated war correspondent of the second world war. This man placed his life on the line in order to create news stories that did justice to the life and death struggles of the rank and file grunt. Ernie Pyle died in that pursuit on the morning of April 18th 1945 when a round from a Japanese machinegun pierced his right temple killing him instantly.

Compare the gallant actions of this man, a noble reporter that valued telling the story more than his own personal safety with the "correspondents" cowering in Green Zone hotels in Baghdad pumping out nothing but doom and gloom, if it bleeds it leads enemy propaganda.

Ernie Pyle was a man whose noble pursuit of his ideals superseded his own personal safety. I can assure you that this man did not have a death wish, but he did value the integrity of pure journalism. Our news persons today could learn a few things from this man's life and death.

89% of Statistics are Completely Made Up

Click the post title and read the headline... "Report: 121 veterans linked to killings".
At least 121 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans have committed a killing or been charged in one in the United States after returning from combat, The New York Times reported Sunday. The newspaper said it also logged 349 homicides involving all active-duty military personnel and new veterans in the six years since military action began in Afghanistan, and later Iraq.
This is pretty standard liberal tactics. This is the New York Times here reporting that they've accumulated a list of 121 war veterans that have "committed a killing or been charged in one". That's a pretty broad statement... Charged by whom? Were they guilty? There have been a number of the troops who've been charged for killing enemy combatants or noncombatants (due to collateral damage) in the execution of their duties. Do you remember the Haditha Marines? You know the ones that were held in jail like common criminals for performing their duty who've all been since cleared of all wrong doing.

You see it is an essential part to their pacifist argument. War is bad. It makes otherwise normal people killers. There's a big problem with that argument however. Sure bad things occur during wars, that's just a part of it. But what the Times fails to do in this skewed article is give you context. They don't tell you the details of those 121 soldier's cases. They don't tell you how many were convicted... (note charged is not the same as guilty). They also fail to give you a basis of comparison... How many military personnel have served in those two theaters of war and how does the percentage of those compare to the population at large. The media built the Rambo myth during the war in Vietnam... all soldiers are damaged goods because of their service, volatile potential murderers. The Rambo myth is a tool used to propose disbanding the army. It is not based in any sort of logic , it is an emotional appeal... But then we all know that liberals find true logic to be an anathema. Logic gets in the way of their agendas. Here's another major rub. If you disband the army so that no one can be turned into a potential murderer, a ticking time bomb. Who stands between you and those unwashed hoards who have no such refined liberal points of view? Who is there to deal with Hannibal? As I said before, sure, wars can harm people. And yes, returning veterans may suffer some mental anguish or trauma if they are exposed to particularly egregious situations. Some of those suffering mental trauma may indeed act out violently but what alternative do you have? If no one rises up voluntarily to offer resistance to an aggressor, then the ones who are placed in those " particularly egregious situations" may be you! It is time for all people of good conscience to rise up and denounce this baseless, tasteless slander of the men and women who've chanced the most for everyone's benefit. The New York Times should be ashamed... but that's another thing liberals lack... a sense of shame.

UPDATE: Hold on to your hats boys and girls, it looks like the G-Man called this one right from the get go! There are emerging allegations that the New York Times has cooked the books on this one, purposely slandering our ladies and gentlemen in uniform!!! All the news that's fit to print indeed!

Subzero Temperatures Encountered in Hades

After one steaming disappointment heaped upon another, our mainstream media (ABC in this case) has managed to astound me by actually reporting the truth, even though that truth flies in the face of their liberal agenda. I could hardly believe my ears...

This video is blatantly stolen from Defiant Infidel, but only because the truth must be put out there often to combat the widespread misinformation!

Ok, so let me restate what you just heard... Anti-Gun laws DO NOT lower crime. If anything, they promote crime. They serve as a comfort to the criminal that their victim is disarmed and helpless. Further if they have no compunctions about breaking the laws against burglary or murder, what makes you think that they will change that behavioral pattern when it comes to firearm laws?

Liberal Plants at CNN's Republican Debates?

Perhaps some of you may be living under a rock and not know that a large percentage of the questioners at the recent CNN Republican YouTube debates were actually planted democrat operatives. Most notable of which was an openly gay retired general and Clinton campaign operative asking about gays serving in the military.

Just how stupid does CNN think the American voter is? During the democrat debates the only questions that were fielded by the candidates were softball questions. The Republican debates on the other hand the candidates are fed a constant diet of hostile planted questions. The subliminal message that they are trying to plant in the voters' minds is that the public is hostile to the Republicans.
We're not that stupid... Just how long did you think it would be until these plants were discovered and revealed for what they were?
Our candidates do not fear answering your planted hardball questions. The real question is this, why are your liberal candidates afraid of answering the hard questions? Why are the Republicans brave enough to visit the hostile liberal bastion that is CNN to hold a debate, but your pansy-assed democrats are afraid to attend a debate at Fox? How are your candidates going to handle Iran or North Korea if they can't handle a hostile question and answer session on a supposedly conservative biased news network?
Utterly confidence inspiring... NOT!

Not Found on the Front Page

In other news that you are unlikely to find on the front page of your average large liberal leaning newspapers or as a featured story on your run-of-the-mill Communist News Network "news" broadcast...

The feds have broken up a plot to attack a military base in Arizona. Why won't you see this as a lead story in the mainstream media? Because the attackers and their weapons (explosives, biological agents and missiles) were being smuggled into the US across the Mexican border. Extremists from Iraq and Afghanistan forged a deal with drug lords to smuggle the assault force into the US across our porous southern border.

Several operatives are known to have already made the trip into the US and are now residing in safe houses in southern Texas. Federal agents are working now to apprehend these individuals.

The military base, Fort Huachuca had been warned of the plot in advance and had hardened security. Fort Huachuca is used to train Army intelligence operatives to collect intelligence from Middle Eastern battlefields. It is believed that the efficiency of these military intelligence officers was the impetus for this planned attack.

This is just another compelling reason to close the southern border. Not only are criminals of all sorts streaming across the border and violent gangs like MS13, but now also islamic radicals. Close the border now. It is time for the government to enforce existing laws and stem the flow of riffraff into our nation! They are constitutionally charged with the responsibility to protect us and they are failing at that responsibility.

Friday Stuff

There are a few things I'd like to cover.

First off, while technically I have settled in to my new home, the new position has kept me hopping. It seems that they needed someone to fill my position long before they actually got me to fill it... Meaning that there's a lot that's been left un-done. So that means many long days full of late hours at work and consequently less time spent blogging. So, liberals you can quit your little commie river dance. I haven't thrown in the towel and no you certainly have not chased me away. I will eventually work through the back-log and resume my efforts to be a big pain in your your fat, unshaved, patchoulli stinking asses. Since none of you are employed as anything other than professional protesters or burger flippers, I'm sure you can not commiserate.

That having been said, there's been some interesting occurrences in England. Seems a truck driver sued to prevent the Algore's "An Inconvenient Truth" from being added to the school curriculum and has prevailed... In the process of winning it was definitively proven that there are at least 11 glaring inconsistencies/fabrications in the Algore's propaganda flick...

1. It was proven that the snow melting on Kilimanjaro had nothing what-so-ever to do with global warming

2. The film's claim that evidence from ice cores proved a correspondence between historical CO2 levels and warming periods was proven erroneous.

3. The film's insinuation that hurricane Katrina was caused by global warming was also unhinged.

4. Lake Chad drying up ... not due to global warming

5. Polar bears drowning ... due to a storm not melting polar ice.

6. A halt to the gulf stream throwing Europe into an ice age... a scientific impossibility...

7. Global warming is a cause for species loss and coral blanching, again, bzzt! not supported by scientific evidence.

8. Greenland's ice is melting... survey says: Not for millenia at current rates and following current trends.

9. Antarctic ice is melting away... wrong again, it's increasing.

10. Sea levels will rise by seven meters! again wrong. Actual estimates using their data is 40 centimeters... (about 16 inches)

11. Mass evacuations from Pacific islands to escape the rising tide - wrong again, unfounded and unproven!

...and for this the asshat is awarded a nobel prize. Guess there's another thing that's lost all of its meaning and prestige. You can be sure that you'll hear all about him getting the nobel prize on your mainstream news... but how much do you want to bet that you won't hear a word about the adjudication that the movie is full of outright lies and fabrications?

Now comes the interesting bit... The basis for the truck driver's suit was a law that outlaws political indoctrination in the classroom... Holy shit! We're talking about a country that has outlawed not only guns, but toys that look like guns and even nail drivers and they have a law that prevents political indoctrination in the schoolroom? If only we had such laws here! The schoolroom is the liberals' chief recruiting grounds... brainwash them while they're young is their motto!

Hat tip goes to ALa over at blonde sagacity for that story.

So moving on now to my next topic... The libs would have you believe that we all should be disarmed... rendered defenseless against criminals. We should place our trust in our law enforcement officials to safeguard our lives...

I'd like one of you people to seriously answer the question. Who then will protect you when the police are the criminals? And don't tell me that it doesn't happen. Here's your undeniable proof that yes Virginia, cops can and do sometimes become the criminals. Further, how do we know that they are competent enough to actually protect us? I mean have a look at this picture:

I mean god forbid, you wouldn't want some untrained goon protecting himself right? I mean it's a job that only "trained professionals" can do properly...

Yeah... right.

More Fictitious Heroes?

You know I grow weary of the left inventing fictitious characters or actual characters with dubious service records (i.e. that fat navy bitch that was never in the Middle East) to slander the brave men and women serving in our military. This newest occurrence revolves around some writer featured by the New Republic sporting the pseudonym "Scott Thomas". This supposed soldier serving at FOB Falcon mentions places that other soldiers at the FOB do not know. He mentions very noticeable persons (hideously scarred female at the mess hall every time he shows up) that no one at FOB Falcon has seen. He also describes 9mm shell casings with "a square back". Clearly no 9mm shell casing is square in the back. It may have a square firing pin indentation or it may have a square shape as a part of the headstamp, but there aren't any square shell casings period.

If you assholes are going to try to slander the military , at least have the audacity to do so without hiding behind transparent phantoms. Your slander is almost as ill-constructed as your logic. We are the ones who by and large are serving or who have family members serving so we know the true state of affairs. We can spot your fabrications easier than you can find a government handout.

Why is it that you can hide the identity of your "confidential informants" (aka fake informants) but you have no compunctions about handing military and intelligence gathering secrets out to anyone and everyone who cares to read your piece of shit rag?

It's time to start rounding up and trying traitors starting with your "Scott Thomas" or the silly asshat that made him up.

I guess your propensity to seek out the base rather than the noble serves testament to the quality of your miserable soul.
